Just drove by two c7s coming home from work today. They were both definitely checking out my car more then I noticed them. Still like the C7 especially with all the new technology inside. But eventually angles will be out of style and curves will come back into style again. Raises the question which of the two is smoother through a wind tunnel smooth curves or angles?

i could keep going but corvette has inflated and changed it's market faster than any other established car i know of. they went from mostly old man mobiles to making sure they were certain to be old man mobiles

there's really no way i'm owning a c7 and i hate seeing what GM has done to the brand. it's just a high priced semi luxury car that touts bells and whistles to try and pull some bmw and porsche buyers. it's not even that great looking of a car.

at best it will be a niche market similar to the GTR

I'd race him. My ears do ring after an hour or so though.

Let's just say, if they came out with a 2015 model C5, C6 & C7 - all with similar improvements, I would order a new C5 tomorrow!

C5 - Had to have one
C6 - No interest at all
C7 - Nice interior, but not as roomy or as comfortable as my C5 and like the C6, they just look like little "toy" cars. Nothing wrong with that for the race track, just no sex appeal on the street. C7 looks to me like a C6 with a body kit.

The C5 was a huge design leap (departure) in the right direction from previous generations. C6 & C7 took a turn toward the little race car crowd. Nothing wrong with that, but after owning 10 new Corvettes in my lifetime, looks like my adventure will end with the C5's.
