Default Cowl udder leak question

I have read and looked at many of the pictures regarding the udders and wiper cowl. All of my udders are clear and appear to drain as they were designed to. I need a new battery so while it was out I removed the tray and checked out where the PCM lives. It was dry but a little dusty. Now for the question. The whole battery/PCM area is not completely sealed against water is it? While checking the area I poured some water before the hood seal and it ran over to the latch area and down into the PCM area. I can't see how that area could be completely sealed to prevent water entering?? I understand the cowl udders are to keep water out of the cowl/wiper motor. I know many other vehicles have the PCM in locations that are not completely dry so I don't think it should be an issue but wanted to ask the experts.

Thanks
Mark

The PCM & TAC Module are water tight and all the connectors to the PCM and TAC Module use a water tight seal.

So, for the most part, not a lot of water gets in that area but yes some does. It will not hurt anything if it does.

Did you make sure the A/C drain udder is also clear?
