I wonder how to these compare to the Radio Flyer Bi-Xenon kits for $650?
Gosh I would love better lighting but I was choked up over the $650. I opted for the HIR's with the 4-way harness, which offered a moderate improvement but the low beams are still too dim for comfort.
Man, I need a raise!
In comparison the Bi-xenon ACA kits have:
- Sharper cutoff
- Wider pattern (over 70 degrees width)
- Bi-xenon function (Projector HID low/high beam)
- LED high beam bulb
- Correct raise/lower function without need of headlight resistors
- Direct plug & play bolt-on (installation/aiming in < 3 hours)
- Includes Hi4 harness to keep low beam on with high beam
- less expensive.

You forgot one more important thing.
-JWM Motoring no longer exists, and neither do the Sun Guns.

How long will it take for them to arrive once an order is placed?
The Halo tails arrived and are super along with a BACK OFF 3rd brake light. Girl friend says they are even more dazzling than I!

As paul17 (and several others recently, thx paul) discovered, the SunGuns are not extinct.
In fact I do my best to continue to support the system regardless of the products vendor status. JWMotoring developments this year caught me by surprise as much as anyone. I'm still in limbo...
Your confusion stems from the assumption JW builds the SunGuns and thus with his departure so too went the SG's.
Headlights are a personal choice we make for our C5's and safe, effective systems come in all styles. My point is the improvement over an obvious OEM shortcoming for those that drive at night AND that SunGuns are still an option in the marketplace. Best of luck David with your choices.
PeteZ06, my apologies for the unusual turn your thread took and Thank You for choosing the SunGuns! Your install looks great and I hope that bad-azz ride is close to done. I'm certain you'll see the road in front of you at night when it's back on the road!
Michael can you give an update on shroud availability
You bet Ben.
There have been several fiberglass sets completed in the last couple months and all but two have been purchased. I'm moving down the list pretty steadily and have a couple/few more sets due possibly sometime this week, maybe next.
Still no estimate from the fabricator on Carbon Fiber shrouds. Still waiting on the completion of the autoclave.
Thanks for asking Ben.

To my knowledge no one has done this yet. I would love to see the finished look (pics) when someone does...
The next couple fiberglass sets are coming to me with only primer paint and will be intended for those who wish to body color match them -or- paint them matte black -or- vinyl wrap them -or- ...?
The fabricator can do the Black Carbon Flash paint and clearcoat anytime we wish and I will continue to work through the list and send emails to SunGun owners to give him an idea when that demand warrants them.
