You should have set up a poll so we could vote.

Don't forget fixed roof with targa conversion. That's my new preference!

The half-dozen times a year I would actually have the top down, I (sort of) want the convertible.
The rest of the time, the coupe is quieter and more practical.
Always thought the FRC combined the worst features of both cars.

Coupe for me - I prefer the targa feature and the looks of the coupe better than the other styles.

I think C5 verts are so sleek and beautiful.
But convertibles are not for me. I've always had problems with allergies to pollen, so usually have the A/C on.
It's a personal choice each must make.

I specifically looked for a targa. IMO, the vert looks really funny...especially with the top up. the sleekness goes away once you put a bag over the back

What's the point of having a Sports Car if it has any kind of roof?

I 100% agree, vert only looks good with the top down. I've never seen a car of any make or model that looked decent with the convertible top on. I also don't like the look of the FRC and Z06 roof. Makes the backend look too long, and again, loses the sleekness.

Targa, the glass top (that I don't have in this car yet) is awesome. I love natural light and the glass top in my C4 was amazing. The light it lets in, seeing the stars at night, it made the interior feel larger, too. Never took the top off, just enjoyed the added light.

No question the vert...fixed roof a distant 3rd. I had a 99 Coupe and the only thing I like about the Coupe better is the stock stereo sounded louder...I never need the extra cargo space..Vert looks better, gets a lot more looks and compliments, definitely looks better with the tops off, much easier to take the top down, less wind buffeting and feels more airy, exhaust sounds better etc...oh yeah and if you some how forget to latch it which I did once in both the vert top just falls back, the coupes flys off and you're out $$$
