Default Exhaust question?

I just bought a 2004 Z06 with what I believe is a BnB bullet exhaust system, I like the sound but really do not like the drone. What exhaust system would be best to replace it with. Also, since from reading other posts it seems the stock TI exhaust is one of the best, would it be economical to go back to stock, and if so where would I be able to get a good price on a used set?

They come up alot on the forum. Depending on the price for your exhaust you might trade either straight up or they would pay you money. I love my ti exhaust though with long tubes. Look on craigslist or your local corvette club too.

That is my plan to look for a 1 for 1 swap after I move, and then put LT headers and an x pipe on it. Just didn't know if there was an overall better exhaust than the TI that didn't drone before I went that route.

Yea the titanium is best in my book. I just had to go buy a couple as one of my cats blew up and got sucked into my drivers side muffler. Got the pass side sitting on a shelf its like new but you need two so wont do you much good.

I had GHL's on my Z and took them off and put the new Borla S type 2 on my Z sounds awesome no drone when your in 5th and 6th the exhaust just mellows out and sounds nice. When you go thru the other gears and get on it it's loud. Heard them on before my header install and now. Real happy. Check maryland speed great pricing where I bought it.
