Default C5 Seat switch failure

Moved from accidental C& posting (Wish I had one)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Has anybody had trouble with the seat switch on their C5 shorting out causing the battery to drain over night? I unplugged the small plug under the drivers seat loosing lumbar and steering whl retraction. If I plug it back in it drains the battery over night. I see that Eckler has the switch in his catalog but only for the C5. Is that an inherent problem with C5s? I appreciate your input! Thank you.

Default Seat switch Gesheft!

So there is a great chance that the seat switch is the culprit causing me to remove what little hair I have left. I will order one from GMpartshouse in the morning and replace it.

Next project. Install my C5R style (frog) antique lights (been on the shelf two years now) before the middle of May.

WOW, bunches of work to do for the driving seasom. Head lights, black out turn signals, weather stripping in the targa top and a 165 degree thermostat. I only drive it in the summer months. Keep me busy for a spell.

Thanks for the the quick reply 8vette7.
