Hey guys! I was finally able to install my Corbeau A4's yesterday. I've been on night shift for a week but lucked out and was able to leave super early Thursday night! So it was nice to be able to do something on my day off (other than sleep!) Anyways, here we are. I used Toque's method for shimming the seats with flash washers and installing tethers to help pull the recline lever! Thanks to Toque for his guidance (and inspiration) and thanks to Mike (TPSMAK) for all his help with purchasing them!
NOTE: Pardon the dirty *** car. The pollen and inch worms have all but taken over, so I'm sparing myself the trouble until they're gone!

Nice, congrats! They look great...and you'll experience they are so much better than stock. No more "steering wheel grip of death" during spirited driving.
Very nice, bet they feel even better than they look! Someday I hope to do the same, for now I just use a wader's belt around my chest for a cheap restraint to keep from having a death grip on the wheel lol...though my speaker grille has been bent from my knee
Do you mind sharing total cost to do both seats? Seats are my next mod.
TPS doesn't post prices publicly but another vendor that does has the black leather A4's starting at ~$1300 shipped including the C5-specific brackets. Add $300 for heaters.

Congrats.

Absolutely! I already took the car out on the most demanding (in a handling sense) road there is around here, and I absolutely fell in love! I can finally pay more attention to pushing the car through corners instead of fighting to stay in the seat! Absolutely incredible feel. I can finally feel what this car is capable of!

I was able to snag my seats (in leather) for 1424.99 shipped, financed for 6 months. Definitely recommend getting you some of these!
I will mention, however, that the install was a slight pain in the rear. Check out Toque's DIY Corbeau Install. http://www.toquez06.com/corbeau.html
I did not do the modification he mentioned about moving the seat 1 1/2" towards the inside of the car. He said that it made your seating position off-centered. I can live with having the driver seat on the passenger side and vice versa!

Glad you like your new seats !
I made a comment in my procedure just now that I DID NOT like the offset position with the seat mod (Bottom of procedure).
Its an easy mod to try though.
Easy to put back to normal too if you don't like it.
A problem...? I don't have a problem...,? Perhaps a cash flow problem on your end...?
But No sir... I don't have a problem at all...
Lets not get snipity over the internet little buckaroo... Your seats look great! Nice job and good for you.
Haha so building credit translates to a cash flow problem? I have a family, and a house to pay for. I apologize for not dropping $1400 at once. The man asked for a price. And I gave it to him. Your snide remark kind of cancelled out your compliment on the seats. But hey! Maybe I can finance some floor mats too!

Considering I would order seats with my credit card, financing is an awesome option. Great looking seats, people have financed a bike for $600 at the shop I work at. If there's no interest, why not build credit at the same time!

It's only $1400.... you can make more in 2 weeks.. Apology accepted. and yes, get some floor mats.

You appear to be the reason everyone thinks all corvette owners are rich snobs.
Back to the original topic though, is there any contact with the doors with these seats? The sparcos in my 350z hit the doors and it always bugged the hell out of me.

No contact at all. There is a little contact between the seats and the center console, but no more than there was with the stock seats. I haven't removed the console yet (to do the shifter alignment I've been meaning to do), so I'm hoping it won't make it any more difficult.
