driver side window problem?
I have an 03Z and the driver side window just started making an awful sound when I roll it up and down..it all works fine just an awful "grinding" sound. It sounds like a peice of metal or something scratching on the window while its going up or down. I was just wondering if this is a sign of the motor or actuator or something else about to go out. The car is not a DD so if the window goes up and down then I'm not really concerned about the noise. Thanks for any input!

You were the one that said it sounded like something scratching the glass. If you wait until you see a scratch then it is too late. It can take a while before a scratch will be noticeable. Trust me I know, just not in my C5.
