Can`t control Climate temp - Help.. again!
Hi!
I'm having problems with the A/C climate control on my 1999 coupe. It only allows you to drop one degree at a time, then two minutes later another degree, two minutes another degree, etc.. The system don`t throw any codes.. Has anyone experienced this problem?
Thanks,
Frank K.

Problem fixed
Hi
Now my HVAC panel is working great again Found a cheap module here in Norway, this module had the dark dim display, resoldered the bad points on the circuit board, and voila!
I know its been a while since you posted but I agree with you. My unit started off doing the same thing where I could only move the temp up or down 1 degree at a time. Now my driver temp will not adjust at all and it is stuck on 23 C. My display is bright and all the lights work. My OFF and AUTO buttons did not respond either. After resoldering all the buttons they work however I still cannot control the temperature. After much reading I believe it is the tiny stepper motor inside the unit behind the DRIVER ****. What I haven't found is where to buy this part, or a vendor that repairs this part of the controller. I know they're out there, I just haven't found one yet.
I also believe more and more people are having/had this problem, but the only responses are to buy a new or remanufactured unit. So most people stop looking for a solution then.
Anyway know you're not alone and if you found a solution let us know.
Good luck!
