My drivers turn signal went out last week and I replaced it another way.
1. Raise Hood
2. Turn on lights to raise the headlights
3. Look down and inside and you can see it
4. Reach your left arm down inside, it is a little tight
5. Depress the clip on the bulb housing and rotate it counterclockwise
6. Bulb will be hot since the lights are up and on, pull bulb and change
7. NAPA had my bulb for 4.00 and change
Congrats on your "new" '99!!!
I have replaced both bulbs. Done one Junkmans way, easy. Done the other by manually raising the headlight. Bulb not hot that way. 6 of one, half dozen of the other.
I have had my '99 for a little over a year now and still go out in the garage late at night just to look at it.
Need to pick up the new DRL bulbs after work. "JDVANN" - I saw that youtube last night, I'll give it a try. The car came with 2 tops so I need to find a safe spot to store the other one.. So many things to read about and learn..
