I have used the Ridetech coilovers for about three years on my C5.
Britt at Ridetech produced these early samples before they received the present Corvette shock bodies.
I believe he told me their shocks are made by Fox, the same as Penskes.
I run NASA with the C5 in ST2/TTS in 2012 and TT3 in 2013.
In 2012, in ST2, I won 10 of 15 races I entered and had the TTS record at Autobahn.
In 2013, in TT3, I have the track record at all Midwest and Great lakes tracks.
I don't think you can go wrong with the Ridetech coilovers.
We have partnered with Fox on our shock program for the last several years, beginning with our Defense division around 2006. The basic architecture is Fox mono tube... the valve codes, dimensions, and mounting design have been done here at Ridetech.
We've been working with Jim here for about 3 years...by the looks of his success I think it's been a successful partnership...one that will serve the Corvette market well!
Also...Fox does not build Penske shocks.
Thanks guys for the input. Also about far can you lower the vehicle on the coilovers and still keep a decent ride? And i like you pic JTMCK or Mr Shadow lol
We can physically lower the car further than you should. About 1.25 inches lower is all you really want to go or you start running into ground clearance problems as well as poor geometry.
