Battery bolt

Went to get my C5 out of winter storage and the ground cable bolt that goes into the side mount battery is stripped. Any easy solution?

Parts store will have something for you. I think when it happened to me I was able to get one that was slightly longer to grab.

You can do a Helicoil repair to it, not that hard to do to the female part on the battery!

Look at Youtube to properly do it!

If it is the bolt that goes into the battery, you can get a replacement at an auto parts store. If it is on the battery where the bolt goes in, the that may require a helicoil.

Rarely if ever will the battery be stripped, it has stainless steel inserts. Buy another battery stud, push the old one out, push the new one in and tighten.
