Default Modifying water fall for a coupe

Has anyone ever modified a convertible water fall to fit in a coupe?

This came up a few weeks/months back. Apparently no has, but the aftermarket has and offer a quite good looking piece for the coupe and frc cars.

I picked up a water fall from forum member who was parting out a convertible and thought I would try to do something with it. This thing is fairly large and would either need to be cut down or the diver needs to be built up. I was hoping some one had tried this and I could get a few ideas.

For the coupe I think it would look better if the center console and the waterfall were molded into one piece.

Perhaps a vendor will pick up on that idea.

Easier to just buy the convertible you KNOW you want. The waterfall will already be there.

I was just thinking about this a couple of weeks ago, the crazy thing is a forum vendor happens to make one for the Stingray coupe yet somehow forgot to make one for the previous gens? Honestly I like the waterfall and have been thinking more and more of doing this mod, certainly not something you see on an FRC or a Z.

This is in a Z06 but the same could be done for the coupe. Just extend the upper portion all the way back, kinda like a hard cover to hide the stuff you keep in the hatch.

That's pretty kool looking! I might be willing to attempt something like that!

I like it too and think it would look awesome in a coupe.

It is certainly possible however; if you were to do that with a coupe you would need a hinged rear section in order to raise the inner cover, giving you two hatches to contend with if you wanted something under the inner hatch. Like the glass cleaner and towels from one of the under deck storage compartments.
