Engine "pinging"

Engine "pinging"
I have a 2003 50th Anniversary with 46,000 miles. It runs great, but starting this "pinging" sound a few weeks ago. I use 93 Octane. Do I need an octane booster or is the "timing" off a bit?

combustion temperatures have increased or you have carbon build up. combustion temps: coils, wires, plugs, timing.

I believe in the Beer Fairy
probably crappy gas....combined with the switch to summer blend 
try filling up elsewhere, different brand....maybe try some Techron....
I doubt your timing has changed.....maybe grab some 104 and dump a few ounces in to help with detonation issues
