Is there a vendor that sells the good high speed bearings? There is a kit from rpm but it includes the couplers and i don't need those, just the bearings and slinger. Thanks.
I do know that if you have the bearing numbers a local bearing supply shop should stock SKF bearings in the right size. That's what I did upon cracking open my torque tube and finding every bearing was toasted- no time to order; just shopped local.

Front- skf 6007 2rsjem and Rear- skf 6008 2rsjem.
We have a local bearing company that has bearings for everything. All you need is the old bearing or bearing numbers and they can match it up.
So (1) 6007 and (2) 6008's and that's all I'd need? Sorry for making this redundant, but maybe my elementary questions will help someone else along the way...

Correct and i found some upgraded SKF bearings if you would like to know what they are send me a pm. A little more expensive but harder and stronger steel so they have a higher rpm/load rating.

yes I would like to know what they are what are the part Numbers of the upgraded SKF ??
i have been racing oval track stuff for a few years up here in CT and always use off the shelf Timken bearings. I've got Timken stuff that I got right from NAPA in everything in the car for 3 years now and haven't had to replace a single bearing with thousands of hard laps on them.
Just go cross reference those SKF #s with Timken stuff and you will be mint for years.
