Watched the Monaco F1 race on DVR first, but that let me skip all the pre-race crap.

It's been a pretty clean race so far.

Yes. It worked out great to have the red flag with 10 to go. Otherwise it would have been a boring yellow flag finish.

I watched for the first time in years, but only because I have the flu and can't do anything outdoors. It was alright. It's really become an expensive spec race.

It was on in the garage while the car was cleaned! I went almost 10 years straight and miss going.
I agree with the cars getting ugly though!!

I was there. Weather was perfect Track temp about 102 F. Firestone engineers said that was right where it should be. A new record was set at 149 laps without a caution, then things really got interesting. I was on the 4th floor of the Pagoda. The crowd was screaming and going wild during the last 8 laps. A once in a lifetime experience to hear 33 twin turbo charged V-6 engines screaming at 11,700 RPMs.

Yes- I was right down in the pits and gasoline alley. Talked to Fuzzy Zeller who owns Ed Carpenter's car. Got pictures of the scantily clad HONDA GIRLS along with Marco Andretti's car. Will try to post them soon. Penzoil car looks the best on the track.

I've never got to see a 500 in person but I watch it every year without fail.
The whole week was great.

Too bad his son's car broke on him this year. Electrical probs. I felt bad for the guy.
Good to see an American win this year though.

Did you see Letterman? I don't think I did this year.
It was cool to see Jim Nabors for the last time.
