Trany or Clutch problem
I have a 2003 Z06 .( hurst shifter )
Was at the track yesterday, was very hard to move the shifter in the gears,reach a point that i could not put it in 3rd , whent of the track, could not even put it in reverse.
Drive it back home 100 milles in 4th gear all way home.
Put it on stand in my garage, the shifter is so hard to move...make it run in the 1st gear than 2nd and 3 rd does not want to go in, everything is so hard in the shifter.
What i do not understand is that the shifter is in center ( Neutral ) and the rear wheel are spinning, i hit the brake and they stop( the engine does not stall ??) release the brake they keep spining ??? What the F...is going on
How can the wheels spin with the shifter in neutral ? And can the engine doesnot stall if i hit the brake without pressing the clutch ?
