front drivers side squeaks while driving.
Does it change with speed?
Does it vary if you make a turn?
Does it change if you go over a bump?
If you drive in the rain does it do it also?
Does the outside temperature ever seem to have an affect?
Can you press down on the driver side fender and release it like you are testing the shock and hear anything?
How many miles on the car?
When did this start and what work was done of the car prior to it starting?
Can you think of anything else to tell us? We can start checking things out once we get some info from you.

I bought the car on April 12th. It has 101k miles .. it started a few weeks ago.
No work was done prior to the onset of the sound.
The outside temperature doesn't seem to have an effect.
I live in vegas. It has yet to be in the rain since I've owned the car.
When I push down the the drivers side directly over the front wheel. It does make a faint squeak
It sounds like a birds chirp.
The sound goes away when I press on the brake pedal.
It doesn't seem to change with speed. If I have the windows down I can hear it still upwards of 40 mph. After that I'm not sure as to the wind noise being quite loud.
I appreciate you taking the time to try to help
I just bought ac Delco iridium plugs. The red wire gm spark plug wires. Borg warner brass oil pressure sending unit. ... 10w 30 ams oil, amsoil filter. Amsoil tranny fluid and amsoil rear differental fluid. I don't want to do anything until I figure out cost and remedy of this squeaking situation
You could put the left front wheel in the air and see if spinning the wheel you can hear anything. I would do that.
If you don't hear anything I would still pull the wheel/tire and inspect the condition of that brake for anything obvious.
I prefer to think it is suspension related and when you brake the downward motion takes the "rub" out of it's normal position.
I still want you to:
Take a turns to the left and right and see if that affects the sound.
Try going over a speed bump or rough road and see what affect that has.
Could be a shock, ball joint, suspension bushing, etc. Ultimately you may have to jack it up and put the drivers wheel on a ramp to load everything. Then get under with an automotive stethoscope while a friend moves the fender down and up.
How does the driver front tire look with regard to wear?

As I turned the wheel. I could hear a very light friction sound. When I turned the wheel fast enough I could hear the squeaking sound I hear while I am driving.
Do you think that is the brake pads or maybe the rotor? Could it be something else entirely?

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
Wheel bearings normally make a rumbling noise not a squeak so I put my money on the brakes.
I think my rotors were warped. There was plenty of pad left. The brake pad noise squeakers were not seen. I bought new ebc blackish looking dimpled and slotted rotors and bought new akobobo brake pads
Noise is gone. Thank god because it was loud. Annoying and quite embarrassing
