Is there any other intake that has been proven to perform better than the Vararam once you're moving?
Out of all the intakes stated in this thread......what intake will get you the coldest air possible ONCE you're moving?
I think you guys get my point.
Having the best fit and finish does not necessarily mean you'll get the best performance. Function over finish....IMO.

Actually the reason the Honker looks and works as well as it does is because it was designed by engineers that also do OEM engineering. It fits right and has been proven to work, being one of the best designs available. Also, most intakes are not true CAI's. They just bring in a greater amount of warm underhood air. Only the Honker, Vararam and the Halltech are true CAI's. Do your research and spend wisely. The Honker adds real HP. Especially if you add headers and a tune, you will add considerable increases with just bolt-ons.
"The Honker adds real HP" Do other intakes add fake HP? I'm confused.
The Honker does not bring in colder, and more air than the Vararam. That's not to say it isn't a well designed intake.
