Default LED Tail Lights

Who has replaced their stock tail lights with HALO LED tail lights? Whose did you buy and why? And did you do the MOD to just have the outer ring lit when not braking or turning?

I am seeing prices from $290 shipped to $379 for what appears to be the exact same lights...

This will be my next mod and it will cost me the $379. The extra cost is due to upgrading the halo with super bright LEDs. I plan on adding the blacked out covers so I want the extra light output. While it is more $$, it still works out to just under $100 per light. Considering how much it updates the look of the tails and the increased lumens, I think it's worth it.

I've seen the regular halo in person and IMHO, the super bright LEDs are worth it.

Default JWM is the source for halos

We sell tons of them here. $290 for the halo mod and a 1 year repair warranty. Hard to beat that.

I ran these for about 5 years before selling my C5. We've been selling them here for the same time.

that's my old car. That is a cool mod.

I just finished a set of those a few days ago. My eyes still hurt from all of the testing

I just installed a set of the JWM product on my car with the Halo option. While I was there I installed the signal sequencer.
I also have blackouts. The set is beautiful! Have to admit I has second thoughts about continuing with the blackouts they are so nice on their own. Way better appearing, even when not used, than stock reflectors.

A bit of a heads up. After installing them I tested all with ignition on and engine not started. Had hyperflash. BUT when I actually drove the car no hyperflash at all.

I am curious if the hyper flash is prone to certain years. It is odd that only some do it while many others do not experience it. I do know you can install the kit to eliminate it altogether.

I have run LED halo lights on my last two C5s. My current set was purchased from HRW Motorsports (forum member blacksedan87) and are an excellent product. They do not have the mod done to where they halo stays on when not braking or turn signals are on.

At first i was torn between going with the standard halo's or the upgraded LED version in the ring.

After seeing them both in person it was a pretty easy choice to go with the standard ones, i ordered from JW.

I have the LED Halo's from Corvette Mods and they look great. I do have "hyperflash" on the driver's side but not on the passenger's side. Go figure.

I got my halos from raido flyer and I love them!! I had him mod them to where the outter ring stays on when the lights are on and the full brake like or turn lamps come on when they are needed

I went with the non modded version, like that look much better. JWM has great customer service and sells a quality product.

Mine came with LED lights and I am the one who modded them to be Halo's with a youtube video showing me the instructions. The lights are about 8-10 years old.
