So last night I took my 2004 z06 out for a calm country joyride with the ole lady. I was just driving along 60mph not beating on it when suddenly the CEL and traction control light came on and I lost all power, engine stayed running. I got messages stating reduced engine power, service traction control, service engine. At a standstill the engine was running super rough. Since I was only five miles or less from home I decided to limp it on home rather then call work and have my wrecker come get me. 1st I could get it to 10mph with the pedal pretty much to the floor and about 18mph in 2nd gear. I got almost all the way back when the clutch pedal went limp on me so I'm guessing I over heated the clutch hydraulic fluid. Engine coolant temp stayed at 180 entire time and I still had near 40psi oil pressure. Well it dropped to 20psi oil pressure when the clutch fluid gave up. So I ended up calling the wrecker anyways.
Got it back to the shop after it cooled down some the clutch pedal feels normal again and it runs a lot better but not 100%. I got code P2101 and that's it. I haven't had time to mess with it today I'm really hoping nothing major else is wrong with it.
Can someone help guild me in figuring out what's wrong so I can replace it.
