Last night I drove through a rough patch of road, and my service traction control and ABS lights came on immediately. I shut the car off and restarted - no luck. Left he car sit overnight with the battery disconnected and this morning is seemed normal - or so I thought... Took a quick drive to the bank, when I came back out the lights were back on.
Any ideas what this is or how to fix? This is a 2001 with 17k miles.
You need to pull up your codes and post them and then someone will chime in and help you.Post all the H,C,HC codes.Sorry I can't help you.Whoops ,8VETTE7 we posted at the same time.

The 28TCS C1214HC is related directly to the relay in the EBCM located in front of the engine on the driver's side. You are in luck, the 2001 to 2004 EBCM can be repaired . My 2003 showed the very same symptons and the C1214 code. There are numerous threads here on how to repair it yourself or where to send it to for repair. I chose to send mine to ABSfixer and got it back in 5 days good as new. Cost was $150.00. Pat
The U1064 code was probably due to dis-connecting the battery
