I attended a show a few weeks ago and took one of the best in class C5 trophies home. I was parked in between two new C7s. There were many people asking questions to the owners, etc., however from a looks perspective, my C5 vert held it's own very well. Many people complimented me on it and the mods I performed and I even overheard one lady mention how my car "looked like a Corvette". Not sure what context she implied, but perhaps the C7 looks are a little too radical for some. The one thing that really jumped out at me was how much lower and wider my C5 looked than the two C7s I was parked in between.
Either way, I will be holding onto my C5 vert for a long time, even after I add a C7Z to the stable. Two entirely different cars in style and functionality that share the same performance heritage IMO.
