I had posted a thread several weeks ago regarding "rear axle fluid change" and received some good feedback. I am also looking to replace the AT fluid at the same time. Would appreciate any feedback relative to the type of fluid you recommend.
The manual states the AT fluid should be changed at 50,000 or 100,000 depending on the driving conditions. Nothing about age! My car is not close to the 50,000 yet, but the local mechanic recommends doing this every 20-30,000. Any thoughts!

Good preventative maintenance. For what it will cost, cheap peace of mind.
