Detailing paint and polishing?
I'm wondering what's the best way to get rid of the very fine scratches, the ones you see in the glare. I'm guessing remove the wax to get down to the finish is first but then can those very light marks be taken out by hand or does it need to be done by machine? I don't have an issue with using buffing equipment, I just want to be as gental with the finish as I can be..

Machine polishing will remove the swirls. I use a Rupes 21, Flex 3401 and Porter Cable 7424 depending on what I'm working on and where I am working. Any machine will give you great results when used properly. I agree on watching the junkman videos and would also recommend watching some of the ammo nyc videos on youtube.
