Default Sway Bars

Looking to do a couple of suspension upgrades to the Z. I was going to get PFADT heavy rate sway bars but just found out they closed?

What are the thoughts on the LG G1 bars with the end link kit? Other options? Looking for race options if the ride gets a bit more rough that is not a real issue for me. I don't drive it much and when I do it is short local runs or highway.

I just went through the same decision... I ruled pfadt out due to them closing and not wanting to wait for a set to pop up... I looked at t1 bars but I think they are too much for what I need and are solid which equals more weight, lg's bars are almost the same as t1 but they do have nice endlinks... I looked at hotchkis but they only offer rubber bushings which i didn't like, no endlinks (which isn't a big deal as the bars themselves aren't too expensive), the bars aren't much bigger (31.75/25.4mm vs the 30/23.6mm z06 bars), but the rear is adjustable and they are tubular so that keeps the weight down... then I came across xplosive performance and they seemed to have the best package for me... their bars are tubular, come with poly bushings, adjustable endlinks, and the front is also adjustable which most others aren't... I went with their 35mm front and 25.4mm rear bars... my car is over 700rwhp and is mostly street driven/highway rolls and sees the drag strip a few times a year... I wanted a middle ground, something that would improve handling while not hurting me in the straight line on the street, they told me to just disconnect the front endlinks at the strip... I highly doubt my car will ever see a road course so I didn't want the most aggressive bars available... Sam Strano also makes some nice bars, I was actually going to buy his before I came across the ones from xplosive so you might check him out too... I have only installed the rear so far but have not driven the car yet so I can't comment on how they feel, I might have a chance to install the front bar this weekend and can report back after that is done

Strano's C5 bars are here:

I have the Hotchkis front and rear setup and am quite happy with it. One of the guys I autox against every weekend runs a Strano front and is very happy with it. I'm not sure which of them he is using unfortunately.

Thanks for the link. Site says they messed with the T1 bars which are about the same as the LG bars and found them to be too much. Any idea what they mean?

I suspect that means that they think the T1 to be too stiff up front, which would have a negative impact on rear bite. I have not read it, so take that answer with a grain of salt please. maybe a whole salt shaker.

Anyone know how much heavier the Strano bars & Explosive bars are vs stock?

I'm hoping for no added weight.

I don't but it looks like they are tubular and not solid.
