Default Lost tune??

Left my lights on this morning and killed the battery. After jumping and driving it feels like I lost the tune. I could spin the wheels at will on the 1-2 shift and now not so. Also the sound is flat and lost the growl it had. Also does not pull as strong to the top end.

Everything I am reading says you shouldn't (can't) lose the tune from a dead battery but something is definitely not right now.

Thoughts?

Thanks,
Vince

When the pcm looses power for more than 10 minutes, all of the drive ability is erased. Talking about long term fuel trims and such. You'll have to drive the car for awhile to relearn.

Placebo effect.

Your fuel trims and emissions readiness sensors would be reset, but your tune is still there.
