Hello, seats look great. I'm about your height and on the street have my stock seats all the way back. Will the Corbeaus go all way back? Did you use Corbeau's seat bracket?

You've owned these awhile now. I was just wondering if you have any updates regarding wear, comfort ect...
I'm considering these over the A4's due to the wider base but I'm apprehensive of the vinyl instead of leather or microsuede.
thanks for any input you have.

I'm looking forward to them; I went with Recaros out of the Evo 9, but these would have been a solid alternative had I not

If I go to a C6 next, I may revisit the idea, and will definitely need them upholstered to match

I was just looking at my Corbeau brochure and there are several different styles of seats in the Sportline series, some have larger bolsters and some also recline. I know that supposedly they were inspired to make these seats because they would fit Vettes better but in the brochure's specs they seem to be slightly wider than A4's, whose looks I prefer. Anyone have more info on this?

Wear: non appreciable though this is not a daily driver... maybe 2000 miles on them. I'm pretty big, 6'3" 210 and have to slide on the bolsters to get in & out. they are holding up very well, look new. Super tough thick material.

The seats are rock-steady, no flex, creak, etc. Feels great. Nice and wide, can move around some in them. Longest trip was 14hr/1000mi; no discomfort from the seats, no 'hot spots' or anything.

SO MUCH BETTER than the A4's I've had in other cars: fit, solidity, etc I've only had fabric A4's. A4 recline mechanism is not 100% solid and allows back to flex & rock some. Not so on the EvoX.

I've had leather seats (not Corbeau), the material on these are comparable to very thick leather. From what I understand 'leather' seats are heavily plasticized for longevity; this is just plastic. Looks really nice, wipes down with damp rag.

Foam cushioning is very firm, not squishy. I like it.

I've not had microsuede so can't speak to that.

Really glad I installed these seats.

Thank you for the detailed reply.
I was all set to go with the leather A4's. I have the FX1 pros with leather patches, if it's the same leather, then yeah it is very plastic like.
Now I'm swaying back to these especially since DD is doing mods to them.
I have a local thread going to see either of these seats in person but no luck so far.
Thanks again.

Acroy, I'm about your size and have the stock seats all the way back and all teh way reclined. Do the Sportline Evo Xs go at least as far or farther back than the stock seats?

I think they go farther

they are 'thinner' than the stockers: shell covered with high-density foam instead of wire mesh covered with an cubic mile of squish

I have 33" inseam and do not have the seats all the way back.

Thanks, that's great. The other seats I tried wouldn't go far enough. Thanks again.

LOL. Especially since I just bought a custom wrapped steering wheel. Maybe I can tell her the seats complete the package?

question, do you still have to swap passenger/driver sides like with A4's?
