I just installed the drivers side, went for a quick spin, yes these make a huge difference, I feel way more connected to the car. Only complin so far is I do not feel I sit lower as most say these are, and I lost about an inch of leg room, the seat does not seem to go back as far as the OE seat...its not a huge deal but I like the extra legroom at 6'1 tall...Ill get the passenger in tomorrow.
They're pretty awesome, right!?
You may be right about leg room through I had not noticed. I'm 6'3", 210lbs 34"inseam and am not back all the way.
The seats do not photograph well but they look like a million bucks!
I've left the grey belt loops alone. It bothered me more pre-purchase than post-purchase. I assume they could be dyed or plasti-dipped. Really surprised Corbeau uses this color, makes no sense.
FYI I've had these close to a year now, no regrets. Great purchase, makes the car much more enjoyable to whip.
Gonna put th passenger in tonight I think I found a way to get the leg room back won't bother the pa
passenger side, but I think I can re drill the sliders and move them back about and inch on the brackets

I think it makes sense, considering so many modern cars have silver or aluminum trim in the interiors. The silver belt slot trim would tie many interiors together.
Come guys! It doesnt take much to make them whatever color you want. Here are mine, just dyed upper logo black w fabric dye marker and belt hoops are dipped anthracite. I doubt the dip will hold up well for those using harness but i personally havent gone there yet so i expect it will hold up fine for now. This is exactly the look i wanted.

Most people are okay with changing the color themselves, but are the hoops removable so they can be safely painted or coated? That's the question... not everybody wants to spray them with plastidip while they're installed.
That's the only thing that I do not like is the loop holes, I was at a meet yesterday and at least a dozen people asked me about the seats...they look and function well at the price point, when people asked what I paid abd I told them they all responded with the question if that was per seat! Few can believe how inexpensive they are for the quality. I said it before but no one knows this is,vinyl it looks great in person. I got about 5k in these now and still look brand new.

Do you think it would be possible to add a hole for a sub belt for my racing harness? I love the seats but no sub hole is a killer for me.

Reviving an old thread, any answer for this question? I need the sub belt hole, I know they don't come from Corbeau with one but can they be modified to add them?
What kind of clearance is there under the passenger seat? Currently my aftermarket amp is mounted there
I'm going to say none. But perhaps you could mount it on the wall behind the seat. With the Corbeau slider brackets, there is 2 inches left behind the seat when all the way back.
I finally got to sit in these yesterday. Amazing. Love them.
I'm 5-10 230, workout + beer belly. 38/40 pants. The seats felt great.
Ingress/egress was super easy. Just spin to the left and your left thigh lands beween a low spot in the back and side bolster. Really easy! This was key for me since it's a daily driver and I'm in and out of it a lot. But the bolsters feel great too, very secure.

Great work. These seats are really starting to grow on me. The inability to recline scares me a bit but Im sure some spacers could be added if I want more or less decline.
After having the C5 "Sport" seats recline mechanism, let go under acceleration multiple times and failing to fix the issue after removing the "sport" seats three times, and reading about a couple of recline failures in the A4's, I bought them because they have no recline. YMMV.

Right now I have Viper Seats in my car and the mechanical lever is superior to the stock with fine micro adjustments and solid hold. I am considering these at this point because my seats were bought used and the foam is starting to lose its comfort on hour drives and im not a big guy so its not my weight. Foam for these is nearly more than getting new seats and near impossible to find.

Background
We know the stock C5 seats have the support of a bag of marshmallows… plus, at 6’3” 205lbs with a long torso, my head was on the headliner even with the seats all the way down.
I had A4’s in a previous car and they were OK, but not awesome. Too small – I sat on them, not in them. 34” waist, fairly broad shoulders, really cramped my torso. The reclining mechanism seemed floppy and was never used...........
Thank you for this great thread. I just bought a C5 and was about to sell it because I am 6'3" 225 and just don't fit in the car. I have been looking for a solution and had gotten it down to this seat model and found this great thread dealing with my exact problem.
Thanks for all the great pictures, sharing your experiences and then following up with a review after running with them for a while. This really really was helpful, can't thank you enough. I know you posted this originally over 2 years ago but it is just exactly the information I was looking for.
I am going to order a set and will follow up with my review, install video and little how-to's on getting rid of various warnings and lights that are likely to occur.
