This is a one off. I will not speak the bastards name.
I'm not sure what you started with but I know the finished product looks super sharp.

Just an "opinion" here but....

The C6 Rear Diffuser offered by Breathless (with extra charges for custom twin center-tipped exhaust) looks the absolute BEST for a C6. I just didn't like the limited muffler selection.

That being said, if you could mold the diffuser for the C6 that you posted, but included a CENTER FIN that splits the exhaust pipes, it may look more complimentary than a wide open exhaust section without the winglet/fin. Even if current exhaust pipes had to be removed and reinstalled to install the diffuser, I believe a center fin would still look "symmetrical" to the overall design.

Again, just an opinion.

By the way, what rear spoiler is on that Blue C6?

It's been a couple of years waiting for some company to get off their duffs and make a piece of eye candy that just attaches to the stock rear facia and allows the C5 to retain the stock exhaust pipes. It's not rocket science. AND you would have more sales if you didn't have to hack it up(rear bumper) and install some modded pipes, duals or whatnots.

Just like the photos I keep posting showing what looks cool as **** and easy to attach.

It's getting to the point of being ridiculous how deaf some businesses are when you could easily get us owners buying what WE WANT!

honestly I don't like any of the other diffusers, they all look too busy imo

What you are describing would not be a diffuser but a "piece of
eye candy" and that would not be difficult to produce.(I agree).

Function over "over eye candy".........I guess that's my motto>
Yes my diffuser is totally functional. That's why a real diffuser
is almost impractical for most folks. They would have to alter their
vette to make it work. No catback mufflers, at least mine ,the
bumper had a big trim, you have to drill holes in the body.
Just drilling a hole (one) would stop a lot of vette owners from
putting on a diffuser.

Looks like BPP's attempt at making a diffuser for the C5 to me. Maybe I am wrong but it looks like it to me.

I have been waiting for a C5 bumper that will receive the C6 diffusers, like BPP and APR...

Went thru a similar deal on the C4 forum. Some members and a vendor pooled their resources to recreate a front splitter and rear duck bill spoiler. What we wanted was something sharp and affordable. Everything was going well until the vendor released the price. So the vendor may not have met his sales expectation. We both lose.

I can see a lot of confusion about diffuser's and how they look.
The truth is most of the diffuser is under the car. And you can't
see it unless you lay on your belly. (that's for another thread).
The diffuser goes all the way forward to your rear axle. I think this is
the stumbling block a lot of vendor's have. If it is for looks hanging
off of your bumper that's one thing. If it is a real diffuser it's
a totally different problem, and a more expensive one.
Any bumper can receive a diffuser --if you put enough time ,
energy, and money into it.

I always seem to be right behind you in your post but I can't help but totally agree with you. Make one that looks good on the back and makes the car look more up to date with modern sports cars. If you are a race car driver then hacking up your bumper to add a full on race diffuser shouldn't be an issue as functionality is your main objective.

I understand "anything is possible". I was just saying I have been waiting for a setup that didn't need massaging.

All this talk of diffusers an Joey at 9K Racing busts out on everyone with this thing. Damn, this looks so good and the 3rd brake light is sick.

<edit> not sure it would fit the stock exhaust, but from what other things hes done on his build, I wouldn't expect something off the shelf.

Looks like Quiks bumper with a couple mods. I love Quiks but this with the molded in aesthetic diffuser is The added brake light looks like a trailer hitch.

I don't necessarily think it looks bad, but how about just a simple bolt on to the stock bumper? I don't think that is to much to ask..

And yet it seems like it is since there isn't one out there to be found. Either it's not enough interest or not enough margin.

That diffuser looks as if the left taillights are C5, and the right pair are C6. No built in spoiler, either. Prefer earlier attempts, not some C6 rehash.
