1. Latch for glove box broken, looks like an easy fix. I ned to remove key cylinder from plastic molding.
2. After I removed the glovebox latch, my horn started blowing. Though I hit panic button while fooling around with glove latch, nope!.
Remove battery power to stop horn.
It might be related to the car's security system. I'm completely guessing here but maybe because you can lock the glove box it is alarmed too, and disconnecting it cause the alarm to go off
Well,I did a little Google research and it could possibly be the horn membrane under steering wheel, relay would be my guess.
I bet that relay is behind center dash where hazard relay is located, or some where in that area. Hazard relay is problematic too, so might take care of both relays, Hazard and Horn.

Horn relay is under the hood.
But I agree now that I think about it, its probably the horn membrane under the steering wheel. I think it normally fails closed (horn on), while the relay probably normally fails open (horn not functioning).
