And I have to leave for work in a few minutes, and the Corvette is going to get wet!!!

Try a thick layer of wax to prevent it from melting. They are basically made out of sugar so be careful!

You do know that Corvettes shrink when they get wet - when you get ready to drive home it will be in a Chevette.
