Default Missing interior part help

Hey all,

Well I've got my first problem with my 10 year old Corvette. An interior trim piece behind the driver's door handle has popped out. I could not find it. Must have happened somewhere I was out. I've included a pic. I went to GM's part site, and if I correctly identified the part (their diagram is not the greatest) it's the one piece that is no longer available. Any suggestions on where I might find this part? Of course being on the driver's door it bugs me every time I get in and out. I believe it's part # 7, but it's hard to tell.

The thread was about 10 posts down. I was just saying "Who needs to replace those?" Guess I know now.

They're available at Chevy dealers for less than 5 bucks. I just bought two a couple of weeks ago. The shale ones for the anniversary and commemorative editions are around 13 bucks. It's called a door panel plug.

Well then, until you score a new one (or two), move the one over from the passenger side.

Well that was quick. Thank you gentlemen

I'd say it's a decent statement on GM's quality when this the only problem a 10 year old, modestly tracked car has had. I did have the steering lock column message but that was my own fault for letting the battery run down. In my case completely disconnecting the battery resolved it.

Should be readily available at your dealer.
