Default Hankook Tires

Anyone with any experience with Hankook Ventus V12 EVO K110 tires?
I would like to know specifically about:
1. Ride
2. Noise
3. Mileage
I am not looking for speed and handling but rather good ride, quietness and hopefully decent mileage.
Thanks for your feedback

I can't address the mileage question because I've done other things to the car around the same time, but they ride better and are far quieter than run flats. I installed mine about 1k miles back and have been happy with them.

K110? Not sure what that is.....

I've had my Hankooks almost a year now and am very satisfied with them. I'd have to check for mileage but they are wearing slowly, evenly, and without issue.

Road noise is much improved but I have nothing of quality to compare to since the original set was crap and the next set was mis-matched and quite noise as they wore down.

Sorry, I couldn't be more help but, in all so far, I am very happy with mine.

I've had two sets, on two different cars. On the Porsche, they rode better, with about the same noise level, as the rather well-worn Michelin PS2's they replaced. On the Corvette, they made the almost-new Goodyear runflats they replaced feel like running on bare rims...simply no comparison.
I assume by "mileage" you mean "how long will they last" rather than "how much fuel will they save": the set on the Porsche had about 11K miles when I sold the car and were just starting to show any wear, the set on the Corvette has about 4K miles at the moment and looks brand new.

I have had a set on two different C5's.

They are smoother and quieter than the Goodyear runflats, or the non runflat Goodyear supercar tires.

They are about the same noise as my Nitto NT555 tires and a little smoother riding than the Nitto's. They grip better than my Nitto's although what I remember about the Nitto's was when they were getting a few years old so it might not be a fair comparison.

I don't know how well they will wear, but after about 5000 miles they still look almost new, but I haven't measured them.

Overall, I was happy enough with them that I put them on two cars.

Hankooks have a pretty good reputation it seems, around the Forum.

I'd recommend that after you mount and balance whatever tires you end up buying; get a full 4 wheel alignment done to your C5, from a reputable shop. If you haven't had a full alignment, in a year or more, it is something you should consider. Find a shop used to working on Corvettes, or performance type cars.

I have run two sets of the Hankook Ventus V12 EVO 110's on my C5s and they are a very good tire. They are priced very reasonable, they have low road noise, they handle very well and the ride is very good. These observations are based on my experience with the Hankooks, Michelin Pilot Sports, Goodyear EMTs and Firestone Firehawk EMTs.

Been running them for about a year now, and it's a great tire. Can't speak for mileage yet, but I have around 8k on them and they still look relatively new. Very quiet, great ride, and way stickier than the BFG g-Force that were on before.

I got those, and like them very much. The only negative sides I can think of are that they are slippery until they warm up, and they squeal when they lose the grip. The Goodyear run flats on the other hand were always slippery but they did not squeal when sliding the rear end around. Calls too much wrong kind of attention.

Thanks for all the feedback. These tires are on closeout for 378.00 plus S&H. Can't beat the price.
