Default Data plug in

Looking at a '02 C5 Z06. There is a Aux plug/ data port(?) in the front wall of the console glove box. What is that for and what can you run on it?
Thanks

OK. Looks stock. It has a fitted rubber cap with holding strip. Wonder what it is. Thanks.

This is it at the tip of the yellow screw driver. Have you seen one of these?

OK, makes sense, but what type of device can use this? I have an old TomTom GPS that uses a cig lighter for power, something similar I guess? What if anything have you used it for?
Thanks,
Mike

Thanks. I only had 10 minutes of the sellers time and didn't get to investigate. Wasn't sure. I have a C4 1990 convertible, quite a bit different. scarecrowkc5 was very helpful.
