2000 convertible. Garage kept and low mileage. The rubber seals all look like new but it leaks very bad if caught in a hard rain. It appears to be coming in where the splits are in the weather stripping for the top to fold and where it meets the windshield. Anyone else experienced this and have a fix?

I was having some of the same issues. I took the car in to my dealer and had the windows adjusted. You can do it yourself too. Posts here to show you how. There was quite a bit of wind noise too. I also put some clear dielectric grease on all of the seals to help rejuvenate them. I got caught in a really bad storm last weekend. 3 1/2 inches fell in about a half hour with wind. I had about two small drops come in on my side, none on the passenger side. That I can live with. Good luck.
I have never seen a coupe or drop top that didn't leak sooner or later. I have had both and both leaked. My coupe isn't as bad but any vehicle that you can remove the top or a panel is bound to leak at some point in time. Key is to limit it as much as possible. I just did my seals with the dielectric grease as suggested in the previous post. Good luck.

about the dielectric grease applied to the weatherstripping.
And I have a number of Word files on the window adjustments and C5 water leaks. If you'd like a copy, PM me your e-mail address and I'll send them to you. Some are just too large to make as an attachment here on the forum.
Yesterday was a bich here in Charlotte. One hand with a towel on the window leak, one hand on the steering wheel and one hand on the stick shift - oops one too many hands. I got wet...
My 2000 leaked between the two seals on the passenger side (where the wife sits, couldn't possibly leak anywhere else). Had top replaced (as it was not in the best of shape, had pulled in on both sides directly above the joint between the two pieces of weatherstrip) and weatherstripping as well. No more leaks.
I assume you mean the short molding in back of the a pillar where it connects to the windshield. A body man told me the windshield has to come out and the whole windshield weatherstrip has to be replaced. About 1000 bucks. I have tried gluing pieces of rubber to no avail. I gave up and now put a piece of black duct tape around the opening from outside to inside. I realize when the top goes down it destroys the duct tape so i carry a roll under the seat. Sounds dumb but it works and hardly shows at all. Thank God for duct tape

Between the piece that meets the A pillar and the piece behind it on the folding mechanism. Leaked straight down onto the seat.
I have taken my Convertible to the coin pressurized car wash and never have had a drop of water get into the interior! and I have directed the spray directly on the side windows and between the tonneau cover and the rear part of the top.
I can't believe it-but no water at all. And no wind leaks/noise neither on the highway
But then-it has the original top and the C5 has only 12k miles on it and has been in the garage it's whole life.

No one has enjoyed that car yet. Use it for a while on the highway and report back.
