Years ago in my '91 coupe......beautiful, sunny summer afternoon along the front range of the Rockies in Colorado. Had the top off and went in to a business for a few minutes. Looked out the front windows of the place and it was HAILING into my open car!!!!!!
Went rushing out into the hail to hurriedly put the top on. Thankfully, there wasn't too much to the cleanup. However, I had just spent the morning detailing the entire car!!
Just one of those quick summer squals we get here. Ten minutes later, it was sunny with clear skies again.
Our music minister went through a drive-through car wash and accidentally hit the convertible top button. He couldn't get it to reverse!
He and his grandson got a bath.
This is why I keep my key/fob sets separate for each of my vehicles. Only take the key/fob set for the the car you'll be driving. It makes things less complicated that way.
