Hi guys, I'm trying to locate some "new old stock" mod red interior parts.
It would be really helpful if someone has a VIN number of a car that came from the factory with the mod red interior option, so I can verify some part numbers.

I tried a GM dealers search a while ago and everywhere said out of stock, I think your best bet is used and when they do show up they are priced really high.

I agree with Bill. I got lucky and picked up a very clean set 2 years ago through Marc @ Vettenuts. Paid a good amount for it but I wanted it BAD.
I'm looking for the part number for the glove box latch/trim that the lock cylinder fits into. I have a number of 10328825. Found two of them buried on dealers shelves. Both are listed as red, but in reality are a Burgundy color I don't think I have ever seen in a C5.
I went down the same path last year. When I was looking, I could not find a complete, nice mod red interior to buy at any price. I found pieces, but never a complete set of everything I needed. What I did find was expensive.

That's Firethorn red . I had it in my old 97 several years ago.
Converted the whole interior to black.

And if you can't find what you are looking for new or used, you could always try what sfc rick did to his C5 and use some SEM dye to color the panels you want red. Contact him on how he did it.

SFC Rick has more talent in his little finger than I do in my entire body.
I've been following his posts for a long time. Truly amazing what he has done with his car!
