Default Visor decal removal?

I removed the yellow decal from my felt visor but a clear vinyl backing remained on visor...anyway to remove this backing from the felt visor? It certainly looks like its there to stay. Greetings, Rob

Since they are heat applied, I doubt you'll ever get it off with damage.

Try some of these:

Good luck with removing the backing without damaging the rest of the visor.......
Mid America Motorworks still sells them:

I used brake cleaner, same as dry cleaning fluid, to remove the residue from my C5 and several other cars. Did the job and caused no damage to the fabric. Brush the fabric when finished and it will look like new!

Won't do anything for those that do not have black visors. ie 03 Anny edition or 04 CE (non Z06).

Here is a link with some C7 related info:

It was the only one I could find.

Anyone out there wanting to make some good spending money?? Suggest you create and manufacture visor stick on labels....just check out the prices on the ones available...$22- to 28- (plus shipping) for a little piece of vinyl. Shipping is nothing, just jam in a envelope with a stamp. EASY MONEY!!!! You seen it here first at the forum folks, lol

Pretty small market, most people just ignore it.

I used a hair dryer on mine to get the residue soft and peeled most off then used Goo-Gone to get rest off. The used some masking tape to dab the little '*****' of stuff left on visor. Can't tell anything was on there and this was after the labels had been on there for 9 years !
