Thanks everyone, I really appreciate all the responses and comments.

Decision made. I'm going with the Conti DW's 275/40-17 front and 295/35-18 rear. My local Discount Tire matched Tire Rack's price on the tires so I feel like I'm getting a pretty good deal. They want to rebuild the TPS's. Is that really neccessary?

Ended up with the Conti EC DWS tires. Decided I wanted the 25000 mile tread warranty and the ability to drive the car in any weather including cold temps. Came in handy the last two weeks here in central Texas, unusually very cold temps and my trucks in the shop. Discount tire made me a really good deal including the extended warranty. Put them on about 6 weeks ago and I love them! Great grip in both wet and dry, and corners and handles great too! So thanks for all the input everybody!

I'm having the same issues with finding matching brands and the sizes I need. Is there any problems with running say a NT01 on the back and a Continental DW on the front. I need the sticky rears for traction but not so much on the front.

No problems at all mixing brand tires. Just don't mix radials with bias ply tires. Make sure they're all radials and you're good to go.

You are correct in regards to the Bridgestone RE760's, this is what I run currently (295x35x18 rear and 265x40x17 fronts) and they do wear well, quiet, and do have decent grip performance and the fit looks right, not stretched. After this set wears out I will be looking into possibly buying a set of Vredstein's, I did some research this week and found that a number of Vette owners that run them have given them good reviews. Although if you are living in a cold weather state and drive in more extreme colder temps it might not be the tire for you. Everything said, what is offered in Z06 size's is limited, Good luck !! Upon further research of Vredstein tires, they run narrower in width (1 inch) than other tire manufactures, just a heads up, won't interest me!!
