'02, Millenium yellow. 113k on the clock. No fuel rail covers, driver side headlight pups up 1/2" after you close it (can this be adjusted?), drive side mirror is burnt or peeling or something. 3" catback cut right before the rear wheels. (stock manifolds).
Interior seemed good, albeit missing the floor mats. Weather stripping looks decent. Curb rash on 2 wheels, decent tires.
Drove great, feeled soft so could probably use shocks. Is the clutch hydraulic?
Couldn't see any leaks. I have some mechanic aptitude and lots of tools, so I'm not worried about the condition of the brakes or shocks or whatever.
Dealer has this listed for $16.5... seem like a decent deal or should I back out?

For only $500 more I bought my 2000 coupe, which had no mechanical problems, only 68k miles, and was in perfect condition inside and out. I'd pass if I were you.
I picked up my 02 EB Z06 with with about 20k less miles and no issues at for $1k more than that one. Just depends. I got my car home an ac went out and it cost $1500 to fix. There are more out there, spend more money the nicer car you could find, or buy that one. Fix it up the way you want it and drive it!
This is a Z06. So it's not worth it? The only issues I found was what I mentioned.
I would try and get them to come down if any and all possible. It is an 02 z06, really depends on how you think the car is condition wise and if those things will bother you when you get it home. Or spend a little bit more money and maybe find something different.
There's also a 2002 automatic base. It's in great shape 86k miles, with both tops. Out the door $21k.
Just needs new tires and brakes.
I think that is way over priced for that mileage! My dad picked up a 2004 commemorative edition coupe with same miles for $18k. New tires can be expensive.
No warranty, but +$2.2k for what's left on my old loan and then taxes/fees/etc. My loaner never mentioned GAP.
The price for the car isn't to far off for the car in general, just depends on what you really want. I mean an 02 Z06 and a 02 auto Coupe are two different animals. Id think hard about what you want and can live with for awhile especially if your going to be a little upside down off the old car.

I bought my 02 A4 base coupe for $17K with 50K miles, new brakes and tires (run flats) and it was a 2 owner local car. My TCM went out almost immediately, A headlight stripped out and I had an electrical gremlin (chafed harness it turned out) so I dropped some coin right after purchasing the car. $21k on that car is way out of line.
I paid 2k more for my lowly 01 z06 with two sets of rims and new tires bone stock with 31,000 miles. If you want a z06 plenty out there. 01s are cheapest
