I'm not sure how to do that anyway...

There is really no "bad" choice on this upgrade.
It just depends on how far you want to go ....

I did not want to pay anyone to do the work with a FAST102, but I felt comfortable enough with doing the Fast 92/LS2 TB myself in my garage.
I saved a bunch of $$ on doing the work myself.

If I was going to go ALL out.... then yea I would have considered paying someone to do all that work. But It would have cost me big time on labor, and extra parts needed for the 102...

Some people may want to go that extra step.
I did not want to spend the extra $$ and hassle with it.

Either way... its all good !

Your one of the lucky ones.
Who knows exactly why it works on some car's and not on others.

The 102 may have fit on my car cause my AFR heads are milled to 59cc.
Who knows... I did not want to risk trying it.

I have a 440 that made right at 600 rwhp with a ported fast 90/90. I switched to a 102/102 when they first came out and gained nothing. I'd just go with the 92.

I have a 102/102 setup on my motor and I don't mind it at all. It is just a touch slow to respond below 2000 rpm, but after that it pickup peer quickly.I will say it is a little much for a daily driver setup, but I would do it again if I had to. I also had no cowl clearance issues, though the shop did have to clearance the water pump a little bit.

I've a Fast 102 with clearance issue's, the lower motor mtg's solved it. With the stock mtg's it would fit, when you pulled it off there was obvious contact.

From the performance side the out of box 102 manifold will flow as well as a properly ported 92 manifold. If the 102 is properly ported there is that additional 5-10 over the ported 92. The gains porting the 92 manifold are major were as the 102 not so much.

The lower motor mtg's if required also help to tighten the driveline up. So depending on the application there may also be a benefit to that. I added the Pfadt rear diff brace @ the same time, that totally eliminated driveline shake.

As Toque stated there is no bad choice, this is a very good modification.

664 HP Flywheel and ~600rwhp (depending of the dyno) with a 90/90 Tony Mamo ported for my 418CiD...I would change for a 92.

you might be able to drive it but it will need a tune for the larger throttle body and will defiantly lean out without the tune.

Is it worth doing a fast92 on an otherwise stock car (minus exhaust)? In my searches some say you gain 15hp on a stockish car, others say you gain 15ish on a modified car.

How much higher if anything does the LS2 sit than the LS6? Thanks for the morning engine bay ****.

I can also join the club now. Tuner called today with dyno results...although they were ran on different days, I gained a whole whopping 16/11 rwhp/tq on a fast 102 from a stock ls6. That's with new 102mm TB and halltech intake. Was not worth it in my case. 452/410 to 468/421. I'll see the under the curve increase tomorrow when I pick it up.

You are limited w stock cubes..... Add the FAST 102, 102mm TB, Halltech Super Bee II to a stroked engine.... Well worth the scratch. Ask me how I know.

I believe Pumba's results were along the same lines.

Here is the "increase" in-case anyone was curious.
Dyno's were overlaid but performed at different times.
This is an un-ported Fast 102. Maybe someday I'll get to porting it.

Looks cool though!
