Really depends on the size of cam and parade rout. I have a mild cam and a stick and have done many parades. Clutch control is the key, any slight jerk can have your passenger sliding off the car onto the street, that is if they are sitting on top vs inside. Any incline in the road is going to greatly increase the difficulty of a smooth start and with a cam it is even worst. You will be giving gas to get her moving then letting it idle in gear before disengaging due to going too fast. Bottom line it can be done, I did it, but it is a pain in the **** and autos are much better suited for the duty.
