New member Help!
1998 Corvette convertible just changed Harmonic Balancer and now have a DTC Code C1286 I have lost my steering center position when I reattached the lower steering connection. (Should of tied steering wheel in center position.
How do I read the voltage at the steering wheel position sensor as it should be 2 to 3v if the steering wheel is cantered. What sort of scan tool do I need to do this? Can you do it yourself?
any one run into this and could I have damaged the air bag system?
