So for the third time, I went to start the car and nothing. The battery is less than a week old and everything electrical works but nothing to the starter. Nothing at all. Has anyone else experienced this?
Check the wires running to the starter? I have never had this issue, but my buddies C6 had issues when a wire was melted to an exhaust pipe. Ended up replacing the alternator, battery, and the starter before we found the bad wire on the starter.
Last spring I went to start mine and nothing even though it was a brand new battery. I cleaned the battery cable terminals and have not had a problem since.
Well, I found the problem. Turns out I have a bad spot in my starter. After checking all the wires and grounds, I tapped the starter and she fired right up. Besides eating cake this weekend for my birthday, I guess I will be installing a new starter. Yea me!
