I'm going to try and explain this the best I can...
When my passenger side door is opened all the way, it is hard to close. When you close it there is resistance and sometimes a popping noise. It's hard to tell if the door is sagging or what the issue is, but it sounds like the hinge.
Is there any adjustment, or should I just plan with a new hinge?
I'll probably just have the corvette shop that does all my stuff take a look when I get my next oil change, but I thought I'd post here and see what I am in for.
Can you feel any play with the door when you try to lift it up?
How about trying a little lube on the hinge?
I just clicked on this thread out of interest, however my drivers door has the same issue as this, it's hard to close compared to the passanger and I can lift the door up a decent amount. What do you recommend?
Well, my issue is solved. I guess, in the past, I was not using enough lube. I hit every part of the hinge to the point it was dripping. I kept moving the door back and forth to let the lube penetrate and it works much better now.
