Had the console out twice in my '00 FRC - noticed an unconnected 3-wire plug in the area of the cigarette lighter - I think it was grey-orange-blue and I didn't see anything in the area that it would go onto. The traction on/off, gas lid switch, and aux power (inside the console) are all wired up - any ideas what this other one goes to?
I seem to remember my 2001 one had the same thing. I can look at my FSM when I get home and verify. I think at the time I assumed it was that and never verified.
Went by my warehouse where I keep my 2001. I have the console out for some work. I do not have any such wires or connector anywhere. So much for my memory.
I think what I recalled are some wires feeding the gas door connector that are not used and do nothing. Next time take a picture and confirm the colors.
Sorry for digging up an old post, but I just had the same question. Got a pic too!
This is an unused plug for my 00 FRC near the bottom of the console cig lighter. Anyone know what it's for? I was looking for some switched power on it and I get about 5V from the Blue line.
