JMO, but I'd recommend the Hankook Ventus tires. I've been running them on my car for about three years and they are excellent tires and the price is right.

If the Hankooks are still on clearance I would go with them for sure. They were really cheap.
Michelin run flats - about $1500 . . .Nitto 555's about $750 - - -your choice.
Thousands of posts on this subject if you select the search feature on the upper right and enter tire brand name. It'll get you more info more quickly.
My coupe when I first got it had nearly new Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval and I thought they sucked, poor handling and loud. I got C6GS reproduction 18/19" wheels and C6 stock size Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires (non-run flats), world of difference. Handle great and whisper quiet. Over $1200 for the tires tho at Discount Tire.
If I couldn't have afforded the Michelin's, I would have gone with the Hankook's or Nitto's.

The difference in sound is amazing, and the ride is much better. I got mine at Tire rack and had them delivered and mounted for 530 bucks total.

May i ask where u got your c6gs repos. I am about to order a set from house of wheels, any feedback and i got a set of hankook on closeout.
Running Nitto 555's, have about 10K miles so far.
They are quiet and good riding. I drive from Boise Id to Palm Springs Ca at least once a year, I like them enough to replace with same when time comes.

I also got them from House of Wheels. No problems at all. I had Discount Tire (where I got my MPSS tires) check them for run out prior to tire mount, they were about as perfect as they get.
