My HUD bezel finally cracked. Question is can the bezel itself be replaced or does the entire dash have to be replaced. I've seen the bezel for sell so I'm guessing it can be replaced by itself. If so is it a simple snap out the old one and snap in the new one, or dose the dash have to come out to replace it?
I have done this replacement SEVERAL times for people.... Whole pad has to come out. The bezel screws in from the underside with 4 nuts on plastic studs.

Pulling the dash pad is not that hard, I have helped many people (DIY novices) how to do it. I have a great link I can provide later when I get home. Please remind me if I fail to post. Much easier than most cars in fact.

Interested in the link as well. Thanks in advance.
Is there an apron or oversized bezel available that will cover over the vinyl, mine is pulling away from the OEM bezel. I am eventually going to have to pull it, just trying to get some ideas on how to cover the vinyl edges.

I have the same issue, What I had to do was install a Dash Mat.
Did you install the Bezel? If not, the retrofit Bezel goes over the cracked Bezel. It is easy to install and looks great. There is a web site with pictures and details.
I did install it, it wasn't too terribly hard. The new bezel does not cover the hole all the way though.

FWIW, it is possible to install the new one without pulling the dash. You need to trim the tabs off the back edge to get it to drop into place, plus a couple strips of double-stick foam to hold it down.
(Whether you can get the old one off from the top is another question: mine was in so many pieces at that point, it wasn't attached to anything by the time I got the dash off. Nor am I entirely sure it was the original one anyway. But it's worth a try, since you're replacing it, and worst case you'll just have to pull the dash and do it the hard way.)

do a search on e-bay for hud retrofit bezel. I purchased one for $99.00 or search www.c5hudbezel.com. It fits perfect, was an easy installation and looks factory.
