Headlight noise
Hey guys, my headlight recently started making this grinding noise when I turn off the light, it eventually goes away so I'm guessing it's the motor going bad? Can u guys help me out on what to do to fix it? Thanks!

Plastic gears inside the motor are failing. You are going to need to replace the gears. The early year cars are easy to replace the gears because there are screws that hold the halves of the motor together. You can get a brass replacement gear kit from this source: http://rodneydickman.com/catalog/ind...07b3785bb1376c If one side is failing, it is simply a matter of time until the other side fails so get a kit for each headlight.
